LREM deputy for Loiret Stéphanie Rist threatened with death by email

Of new death threats against an elected official. Stéphanie Rist, LREM MP for Loiret, said on January 2 in the evening that she had received an email in which its author affirms that he will “start the fire”, “because you have greatly exceeded our tolerance’s threshold” about the management of the health crisis.

The elected Loirétaine has therefore denounced this email by posting it on the social network Twitter, and affirming to vote “according to my conscience and never according to the pressures”. “This kind of email is therefore useless”, concludes Stéphanie Rist.

Contacted by France Bleu Orléans, Stéphanie Rist indicates that she will file a complaint this Monday with the Orléans police station.

The Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin also recently asked the prefects strengthen the protection of elected officials, in the context of the examination of the vaccine pass bill.
