The Montreal club of the Professional Women’s Hockey League announced Wednesday that its main home for the 2024-2025 season will be Place Bell in Laval.
Last season, the team played six games at the home of the Laval Rocket, the Montreal Canadiens’ farm club. Three of those six games were played in front of sold-out crowds of 10,172.
“We are extremely pleased to be able to meet the growing demand from our fans and to give even more people the opportunity to come and encourage our players,” said the general manager of the Montreal team, Danièle Sauvageau.
The Montreal team will continue to train at the Verdun Auditorium, which includes two rinks and houses the Centre 21.02.
The 2024-2025 LPHF season will feature a 30-game schedule for each team, including games that will be played in neutral arenas.
