Cinema attendance is down. It has indeed decreased by more than a third compared to that before the health crisis. Competition from platforms, overpriced tickets, loss of habit with the Covid-19: The reasons for this decline are multiple.

This is the worst number for 40 years, and it represents a drop of 34.7% compared to September 2019, before Covid-19. 38% people say they have lost the habit of going there. For 33%the tickets are too expensive, and 26% refer to platform competition. For professionals, the film offer also has something to do with it.
