“Love is in the meadow”: unveiling of the farmers

The portraits of the five new farmers who will participate in the next season of “Love is in the meadow” were unveiled on Tuesday by Noovo.

Anne-Sophie, 24, is a beef, poultry and maple syrup producer. Newly elected municipal councilor for the city of Neuville, in the Capitale-Nationale region, Anne-Sophie is active, driven and ambitious. She studied agricultural tourism management before joining the family farm and is now looking for a manual guy, as established as she is and who is ready to share her hectic daily life.

Elisabeth, also 24 years old, lives in Saint-Gabriel-de-Rimouski in Bas-Saint-Laurent. She is a cattle producer and owns a horse farm. Energetic, Elisabeth has a great passion for horses and has just entered the rodeo circuit. Determined, she looks for her “rag”, a handsome charismatic cowboy capable of helping her on the farm and who can follow her in all her adventures.

Guillaume, 38, is the dean of this season. A dairy and grain producer in Rivière-Ouelle, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Guillaume is a sensitive, valiant man who is proud of his job as a farmer. Single for several years, he is looking for a girl who will take him out of his daily life. He wants to meet his life partner, a bright, honest and understanding woman.

Marc-Antoine, 27, wants to start a family and dreams of seeing his children run around the farm as he himself enjoyed doing when he was young. A dairy and maple syrup producer in Saint-Philémon, in Chaudière-Appalaches, Marc-Antoine is sneering and has strong family values. He would like to find an active girl with whom he can share moments of simplicity.

Robert, Bobby for friends, is 27 years old and is looking for an enterprising girl, ready to invest in a relationship and extroverted. Resourceful, curious and of an introverted nature, Bobby is surrounded by his parents and his three sisters, who occupy an important place in his life. He is a dairy and field crop producer in Howick, Montérégie.

During its first 10 seasons, “Love is in the meadow” contributed to the creation of 17 couples and the birth of around thirty children. The show will be back on Noovo and Noovo.ca starting January 12, at 8 p.m.
