Anne-Marie Philipe, the daughter of Gérard and Anne, accompanied on stage by Jérôme Garcin, offers performances of letter readings for the launch of the tributes which will celebrate the centenary of her father all this year 2022 everywhere in France.
Georges Perros and Gérard Philipe met at the Conservatory in 1944, and a faithful friendship will be forged between them, in particular with the exchange of numerous letters which will be at the heart of this show. In this correspondence, the 2 friends talk about theater but also about cinema such as the film “Le Diable au corps”.
Georges’ loyalty to his friend Gérard continued after the latter’s death in 1959, as Perros continued to correspond with Anne, the actor’s wife, until his own death in 1978.
