The creator of the famous investigator Armand Gamache has decided to get rid of her pied-à-terre in Paris.

The writer, who lives in Knowlton, in Estrie, confided in a publication intended for her fans that she had decided to sell the apartment (purchased a few years ago to “realize a dream”) because she did not didn’t take advantage of it enough. “I had so much fun decorating it, furnishing it. Visited it the few times I could. But now it’s someone else’s turn,” she wrote.

The charming 62 square meter (668 square foot) residence is nestled on rue du Dragon, in the chic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, in the 6e borough. It was put up for sale at 1,195,000 euros (approximately 1,740,000 Canadian dollars). Will one of its loyal readers be the future owner?
