Louis Chédid married to Emma: he agrees to talk about his wife, artist and “yoga teacher”

The Chédid family, difficult to miss in the French musical landscape! Between Louis Chédid, the patriarch of the clan, on stage since the 70s, his children Matthieu (better known under the pseudonym of M), Anna and Joseph (Nach and Selim), who are also musicians, and even his granddaughter Billie, who starts recording herself… Music is a family affair! But if all express themselves on stage thanks to their solo and joint albums, they are also very discreet about their private life.

And particularly Louis Chédid, who never publicizes his love life. Besides, few know who has shared his life for thirty years now ! As he confided in Release this Wednesday, October 5, it is actually a woman named Emma, whom he met in 1992 and married in 2003. A woman who, according to him, “does a lot of stuff but whose main activity is to be a yoga teacher“. We will not know more, with the exception, however, of the fact that the two have already worked together!

Don’t worry, not on stage: in addition to her yoga classes, Emma Chédid-Advenier is an artist who had illustrated the collection of short stories lives and dustreleased by her husband in 2016. Very close to nature and always discovering other cultures, she in any case collects Buddhist statuettes according to the portrait of Release and seems to make the singer happy.

He had previously been married to Marianne Bochart, who gave him his four children (Emilie, 52, Matthieu, 51, Joseph, 36, and Anna, 35). All four then embarked on an artistic profession: even if she does not sing like her brothers and sisters, Emilie is a documentary and music video director. She had notably been at the head of all the first clips of her brother M, and also made one for Joseph.

And the new generation is now on the move, since Billie, Matthieu Chédid’s eldest daughter appears on her father’s albums and sings regularly with him. Endowed with a very strong artistic universe, the young girl should have a great career. Before, perhaps, being caught up with by his little brothers and sisters: in 2019 and 2021, Matthieu Chédid became the father of a little boy and then a little girl.
