Loud had given a hint of this return in mid-March with the release of the piece Nothing less, which has since garnered almost 1 million plays on the platforms. On Friday, he released the first official single from the upcoming album, Uber Eats Freestyle. A piece for which he abandons “catchy melodies and choruses for a rap demonstration in its purest form”, says Joy Ride Records. “I replaced rap with investment reports, I no longer know what pays off the most, my words or my actions”, sings Loud in particular.

The new piece makes its appearance at the same time as a clip directed by William Fradette, in which the singer goes to the funeral of a loved one. Loud will be at several festivals over the next few months, including the Festival d’été de Québec, Métro Métro in Montreal and the Festif de Baie-Saint-Paul.
