Louane knows it, her story will always be linked to that of The Voice : revealed by the show in 2013, at only 16 years old, she has built a great career and is now back in tele-hook but as a juror, for the Kids version which will start on August 22. A great program for her, who confided in Tele-Leisure on his beginnings and in particular the way his family had managed his first appearance on TV.
“I have always been encouraged by my people“, she first confided. “Even if, at first, my mother thought I was too young to participate in The Voice. But above all she pushed me to be good at what I did and that’s precious”. A mother who unfortunately could not see how much the show The Voice helped her daughter: indeed, a year after the broadcast on TF1, she unfortunately died. A drama for Louane, who had lost her father the previous year.
But it is not really in the character of the young woman to let herself go: she indeed knew how to bounce back and immediately relied on artists who have become her friends today, such as Julien Doré, who also enters the jury of The Voice Kids This year. “I liked what he did and besides, my mother was a big fan of him!” she acknowledged, before explaining why she was so close to him.
“At the end of the tour that followed this album [son dernier, ndlr], it was he who made me realize what I had to do for myself. And I know that if one day I’m lost and I don’t know what to do, he will always have a listening ear for me.“, she revealed, touching her friend, also present in the interview. Both young parents (Julien Doré’s son was born in 2021 while Esmée, Louane’s daughter, is 2 and a half years old ), the two singers have in any case explained why the show The Voice Kids is so important to them.
