The prize pool for Tuesday, September 27 will be approximately $103 million, making a jackpot of $70 million and approximately 33 Maxmillions.
In Friday’s draw, two Maxmillions (worth one million dollars each) were won in Quebec, thanks to selections.
“Quebecers were particularly lucky last year, when we handed out $1.5 billion in prizes to lottery winners, a historic high for Loto-Québec.
In fact, a jackpot of $70 million was won last June by a Montérégie resident, thanks to Lotto Max,” said Isabelle Jean, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of lotteries.
Since its launch, Lotto Max has enabled Quebecers to win more than $3,199 million.
In all, 39 jackpots have been won so far in Quebec, including three of $70 million, the largest jackpots ever won in Quebec.
In addition to these historic jackpots, 189 Maxmillions, worth $1 million each, were won in the province, as well as 130 Maxmillions pars.
