The 455 professionals employed by Loto-Québec will go on strike starting at 12:01 a.m. Friday night through Saturday.
Posted at 1:52 p.m.
These professionals work in information technology, communications, sales and marketing, finance, legal services.
This time it will be an indefinite general strike for these members of the Union of Professionals of the Government of Quebec (SPGQ). They had previously walked off the job for six days, out of their 20-day strike mandate.
An agreement in principle regarding the renewal of the collective agreement had been reached between the parties, but the members rejected it at the end of August.
Hope remains, however, since the SPGQ indicated on Friday that it had been summoned by the mediator assigned to the file next Monday.
