The heat wave still threatens the Southwest. Météo France predicts up to 40° this weekend; the heat peak could take place on Monday. Consequence of these strong heats which last: there are now 16 departments in heat wave orange vigilance in France, plus Andorra. Aveyron, Lot and Gers have in turn joined this alert level. Haute-Garonne, Tarn, and Tarn-et-Garonne have already been classified in orange since Tuesday.
The heatwave episode should continue until Monday included according to Météo France.
