Through the series Lost, Matthew Fox has acquired a certain notoriety and built a small fortune allowing him to live comfortably, while taking a step back from show business. But the actor has not drawn a line on his career since he is due to return to the small screen in 2022.
With Lost, Matthew Fox has carved out a great place for himself in the industry. And yet, the role was not intended for him initially! Series creator JJ Abrams told the Hollywood Reporter first contacted Michael Keaton to play the role of Jack Shephard, when production on the show was in its infancy. The basic scenario thus envisaged that he plays Jack, pilot of the plane which crashes and not doctor, and that his character dies in the last ten minutes of the first episode. Eventually, things changed and Michael Keaton didn’t join the project.
After the broadcast of the last episode of Lost in 2010 – out of a total of 113 – Matthew Fox had turned away from television to try to break into film. Thus, the handsome kid has multiplied the films with more or less success at the box office: Alex cross and Emperor in 2012, World War Z in 2013 as well asExtinction and Bone Tomahawk in 2015. There followed a crossing of the desert fortunately compensated by a very useful financial mattress, his fortune being estimated by Celebrity Net Worth to $ 10 million.
Matthew Fox, who the last I heard is still married to Margherita Ronchi, is preparing his big comeback to television. He must be one of the headliners of the miniseries Last Light, commissioned by the American channel NBC for its streaming Peacock. The filming, which began this year and which was to pass through Prague, should result in 5 episodes, in which he will play a certain Andy Neilson. The series is scheduled for 2022.
