Three people, including a toddler, were injured in a road accident that occurred Sunday morning in Lanoraie, in Lanaudière.
The vehicle, in which the three victims were, was traveling on Highway 40 West around 11:45 a.m. when it lost control. The car then rolled over before ending its course in the central reservation at kilometer 130.
The 29-year-old driver and the toddler suffered minor injuries while the other 26-year-old passenger was more seriously injured. They were all transported to a hospital center, where there is no fear for their lives, underlined Ève Brochu-Joubert, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
One lane per direction was closed to allow the collision scene reconstructionist to analyze the scene and understand the causes and circumstances surrounding this event.
