(Los Angeles) Canadian central defender Doneil Henry agreed to a contract with Los Angeles FC on Friday.

Details of the contract were not disclosed.
The 28-year-old Ontarian wetted the Canadian jersey 42 times, which is on its way to qualifying for the first World Cup since 1986. He played all 90 minutes in the Maple Leafs’ 2-0 victory over El Salvador occurred on February 2.
He started his career with Toronto FC in 2010 before leaving for Europe in 2014. He notably passed through West Ham, Blackburn – in England – and the Danish club Horsens.
He then wore the colors of the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2018 and 2019 before joining South Korean club Bluewings Suwon for the last two seasons.
