In the weekly photo of the 20 Hours of Saturday March 4, some photos tell in their own way the news of the week. On the program, snow on the bay of Los Angeles, an empty lake in Ariège, or even the celebration of a Hindu festival.

Los Angeles, its palm trees, its buildings, but also more unusual, its snow-capped peaks. Across California, exceptional rainfall after record droughts brings the prospect of devastating floods. There is no longer much water in Lake Montbel, in Ariège, three times less than a year ago. A problem for vacationers keen on pedal boats and for farmers who use it to irrigate their land.

In Italy, a painting denouncing the inaction of the authorities to help migrants

Men, women and children, 180 people tried to reach Italy, dozens died in the sinking of their boat. On the wall of an alley in Rome, they are represented in the arms of a Christ draped in the colors of Europe. In the night sky of Denmark, but also of northern France, we can see the colorful and always spectacular lights of an aurora borealis. In India, the Holi festival, a Hindu celebration at the end of winter, a party without limits, impossible to get out of it without being painted from head to toe. In a London park, we see a deer. As beautiful as a painting, the photo has just won an award.
