Armand Giacomel is the president of the association “Amicale Morlange and its Chapel”, a real jewel in Moselle, classified as a historical monument.
Morlange Chapel
dates from the 12th century, it has a Romanesque transept and a Gothic choir, which marks its specificity: it is one of the most beautiful and best preserved testimonies of Romanesque art in the region.

The chapel was saved in extremis by the French writer, historian and archaeologist Prosper Merimee, came – at the base – with an order of destruction. Amazed by its beauty and specificity, he helped to make it finally classify a historical monument in 1845.
