But how far will these Hakes go? Thanks to a fifth victory in a row, Sunday October 2, against Lille, Lorient not only equaled the best series in its history dating from the autumn of 2013, but also managed to keep pace with the PSG and of his dolphin from Marseille in the ranking.

At Moustoir, Régis Le Bris’ men quickly took the lead thanks to a Lille scramble between goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier and the unfortunate Bafodé Diakité, who scored an own goal (9th). Under the Breton drizzle, Lille then multiplied the crosses (41 against five for Lorient) but broke their teeth on the Breton defense until the expulsion of Dango Ouattara for a foul on a very good Adam Ounas (62nd) .

In numerical superiority, the Lille managed to equalize through Jonathan David (78th). But Théo Le Bris, the nephew of the Lorient coach, achieved a personal feat to allow the locals to win in the last minutes (87th). Lorient is on the third step of the Ligue 1 podium while Lille stagnates in the middle of the table.
