It is not because a work is ephemeral that it cannot be significant. As evidenced by this grass fresco created by French artist Saype on the eastern slope of Mount Royal, as part of the Mural festival. It took four days – from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. – of painting to complete the fresco which now exists only in photos and in our memories.
