Every two weeks, France 3 offers an immersion in a Second class in a high school in Saint-Denis, in the Paris region. Sunday February 6, the students look back on the two years marked by the Covid-19.
“What do you think of these two years of Covid-19?”interrogates Adjmane Brahimi, math teacher. “Going from having 10 people around you every day because they’re your close friends or classmates to just your close family all day is tough in the long run”, answers Maria, 15 years old. Two years later, the situation hasn’t really changed for 15-year-old Adam: “We put the mask back on, there are barrier gestures. It never ends, we are condemned to live with it”.
Professor Angela consolidated, psychiatrist and member of the scientific council, is invited by the school. She asks them what at was the hardest time to live. “The recovery, because we got used to working at home”, responds a student. Asked if they would tolerate a new pandemic, Nisrine, 15, said: “I don’t want it to happen again, it’s an atmosphere that is heavy, we are no longer close to people. I want everything to be okay.”
