look back on the third day at the Sarlat film festival with Cécile de France

Two first films are in the official selection of this 31st edition of the Sarlat film festival: Les Pires by Romane Guéret and Lise Akoka and La Passagère by Héloïse Pelloquet with Cécile de France, Félix Lefebvre, Grégoire Monsaingeon.

The Passenger by Héloïse Pelloquet

A large part of the cast of La Passagère and its director came to present the film at the Sarlat film festival. This film tells the love story between a 45-year-old woman, played by Cécile de France, and her apprentice Maxence, played by Félix Lefebvre, in his twenties.

Cécile de France plays the role of Chiara in this film broadcast from December 14 everywhere in France.

Les Pires by Romane Guéret and Lise Akoka

Romane Guéret, the co-director of Les Pires was in Sarlat. She had already come to present a short film “Chasse Royale” with Lisa Akoka at the Sarlat festival. Their first film has already won the Un Certain Regard prize at Cannes and the Valois de Diamant at the Angoulême film festival. He has just been selected for the Delluc prize. In this film, the two directors are inspired by their experience in wild castings to tell a shoot with children and teenagers in a city of Boulogne-sur-mer.

Workshops including a sound engineer

The nearly 600 high school students who participate in the festival are either in the cinema option or in the cinema specialty. During this festival week, they attend workshops led by film professionals such as Boris Chapelle, sound engineer, specializing in film editing.
