The Longueuil agglomeration police department (SPAL) has arrested two suspects, a man and a woman, after a five-month investigation to shed light on the sordid murder of Manon Boisvert.
The two suspects reside in Longueuil.
On January 5, Manon Boisvert, 54, was found dead in her vehicle in the parking lot of a shopping center on Roland Therrien Boulevard in Longueuil. The 50-year-old had her throat slit.
The suspects will be met by investigators on Wednesday afternoon, said Mélanie Mercille, SPAL public relations officer. The case will then be handed over to the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions.
At the beginning of May, the police of Longueuil had undertaken new searches for clues, very close to the place where the body of Manon Boisvert had been discovered.
