Longueuil | Police search for victims of sexual predator

The Longueuil agglomeration police department (SPAL) is asking for the public’s help in locating victims of Marc-André Landry. The 34-year-old came into contact with underage people using social media. He was arrested last November and is charged with various sex crimes.

Marc-André Landry is accused of obtaining sexual services for consideration, twice, as well as lures. All about two underage victims.

The SPAL believes that the thirties could have made other victims, in Longueuil or elsewhere in Quebec. To get in touch with them, he used Snapchat and Messenger with, as username, Ti-Marc Landry or Topgnreux

He is currently prohibited from being in the presence of minors and from going on the Internet for recreational purposes.

Given that the predator would have made several victims, an investigative structure dedicated to serial crimes, coordinated by the Sûreté du Québec, was set up.

“This is a unified command structure in which Quebec police services work in partnership to quickly identify crimes committed by predators and arrest them,” says the SPAL. This provincial coordination therefore makes it possible to pool police resources and aims to better protect victims. »

Anyone with information about Marc-André Landry can contact the SPAL confidentially at 450-463-7211.
