(Longueuil) An elderly man in his thirties lost his life after being found unconscious in one of the four apartments of a residential building in Longueuil which was set on fire at the start of the night on Monday.
The tenants of the other apartments were not injured, but they were thrown out into the street.
The building is located on Saint-Louis Street, near the intersection of Victoria Avenue, in the LeMoyne sector. At the end of the night, the cause of the fire had not yet been specified.
A security perimeter has been established to allow investigators to determine the circumstances of the fire.
