Longueuil: a 4-year-old child was allegedly sexually assaulted at his school

A child aged just 4 years old was allegedly sexually assaulted in an elementary school in Longueuil in recent days and police confirm that they have opened an investigation into this matter.

This terrible story, first reported by Radio-Canada, allegedly occurred at the beginning of December, in a school establishment at the Marie-Victorin School Service Center.

The suspect in this case is believed to be a person in a position of authority, who has been removed from duty until further notice, law enforcement confirmed.

According to the state society, parents presented themselves at Charles-Le Moyne Hospital on December 6, with their child who was suffering from injuries possibly caused by a sexual assault that occurred at school.

The child, enrolled in 4-year-old kindergarten, had lesions on his rectum that he could hardly have inflicted on himself.

Still according to Radio-Canada, parents have noticed a drastic change in their child’s behavior over the last two weeks.

As for the Longueuil police, we confirm that they have opened an investigation into this twisted affair, to say the least.

“The child and his parents are in contact with the police, as well as with the psychosocial workers and specialists necessary to intervene with them. Other information will be communicated later as the investigation progresses,” said agent François Boucher, spokesperson for the Longueuil police.

No arrests have yet been made in this case.
