Loïc Badé replaces Wesley Fofana and will discover the Blues

Sevilla FC defender Loïc Badé, an Olympic silver medallist, has been called up to the French national team for the first time to replace Wesley Fofana, who was left at his club Chelsea’s disposal for the “follow a treatment protocol” linked to his previous rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, the French Football Federation announced on Sunday September 1.

“After a discussion with the national coach, the Chelsea FC central defender will finally remain at his club’s disposal and will take advantage of the international break to follow a treatment protocol, linked to the injuries which kept him away from the pitch for a long time last season.”indicated the FFF while the Blues must prepare for two Nations League matches against Italy, on September 6 at the Parc des Princes, and Belgium, on September 9 in Lyon.
