Local Wine and Cider Fair | A Seasonal Feast

Cuisine libre!, the company of chef Clément Boivin, is setting up at the Jean-Talon market this weekend.

It is within the framework of the Foire des vins et cidres d’ici that we will be able to taste the lovely Saisons menu created by the winner of the third season of the show Wood Chiefwho previously worked in the establishments of the Au Pied de cochon group.

About ten small dishes are offered à la carte (between $7 and $15) or in a feast formula for $100. They are based on sought-after ingredients that are not always accessible to first-timers, such as crayfish from Lac Saint-Pierre (with succotash), clams from the Côte-Nord (Catalina sauce), beef aged in beeswax, the freshest and most ripe fruits and vegetables, etc.

There will be two services on Saturday, August 10 (noon to 3 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.) and only one on Sunday (noon to 3 p.m.).

Natural ciders from Moulton Hill Cider Farm and wines from Vignoble de la Bauge are the lucky ones to accompany this relaxed and ambulatory meal on the mezzanine. You can reserve your place for $10, which gives you access to a welcome drink.

Before or after this small or large meal, you will be able to discover the liquids of around fifteen other Quebec artisans in the event zone, located northwest of the market.
