Daily life is complicated to manage for Loana. Once a superstar thanks to his victory in loft story (2001), she fell into an infernal spiral over the years, which was marked by suicide attempts, addiction to alcohol and drugs, and stays in a psychiatric hospital. It’s only recently that the famous 45-year-old blonde seems to have lifted her head above water. But her years of excess of all kinds have certainly weakened her in every way.
And especially financially. During an interview with the magazine Public, she revealed that she was in difficulty. “As an artist, it’s difficult! There aren’t many concerts and entertainment shows anymore! Today, I am at the RSA. I do some dedications on the Vidoleo site, but this monthly income is not huge“, she admitted. To make matters worse, it is Loana’s mother who is having serious financial problems.”She only earns 90 euros a week and we will have to leave home after the winter break. I have to place it: I found a seniors’ home for in a few months“, she announced.
I’m really sick
After these disturbing confidences to say the least, Loana was contacted by Guillaume Genton in The Morning without filter on Virgin Radio. The latter then asked her if it was not possible for her to find a job. “Well yes, but work is scarce, as much for many people as for me. But problem: her condition prevents her from working. This is part of the list of disabling diseases recognized by the MDPH.”Because I’m bipolar and from then on I couldn’t do a fixed jobshe clarified. I am bipolar with schizophrenia tendencies. I was diagnosed a long time ago but went into denial, didn’t take my meds, that sort of thing. I now realize that this is very useful. So in fact I am really sick and considered disabled.” A situation allows him today to obtain aid of 400 euros per month.
