Talel Hakimi is only 25 years old and launched, in January 2021, in the midst of a health crisis, a revolutionary service: Livmed’s. This exists with our neighbors but not with us: the delivery of medicines. “The patient just has to go to the application, select his pharmacy, then he can insert his Vitale card, his mutual insurance card, his prescription if he has one or simply select non-prescription drugs. Then the pharmacist receives a notification. He can take care of it remotely. Once the amount has been validated by the patient, a delivery person comes by, picks up a package which is sealed and brings it to the patient’s home”, recount Talel Hakimi. When he talks about inserting his documents, it is actually enough to take a picture of them.
Livmed’s was launched in Nice. Today the service is available in 200 towns in France. In particular, it was necessary to recruit 15,000 delivery people. The health crisis has accelerated the digitization of health. Livmed’s is part of this trend. In 2020, we recorded 20 million teleconsultations, a godsend. It is the patient who pays for his delivery: less than five euros per day. But some mutuals are already covering these costs.
