More’one out of two French people say they have sex “more often” during the summer holidays than the rest of the year. If this data is only a statistic and does not make it possible to establish generalities, because sexuality is specific to the psychology of each one, it nevertheless allows us to question our relationship to summer.
Sun, temperature, holidays : is this the perfect cocktail to increase the libido? Beware of misconceptions! We note, however, that the use of dating applications increases in the summer, rather for partner searches for more sexual than romantic encounters.
However, the framework of the holidays and the summer holidays make it possible to devote more time to personal pleasures and to reconnect with ourselves. It is also often the occasion to increase the possibilities of meetings, by moving away from our usual frequentations.
Reducing stress can also promote fulfillment on that side, but again, there is no rule. With or without sex, summer can be beautiful!
