It is the fruit of an investigation which lasted more than four years, led by Virginie Vilar and the teams of the magazine “Special Envoy”. Several women have thought carefully before testifying: they accuse Nicolas Hulot of sexual assault. The facts that some of them describe, in this issue broadcast on Thursday, November 25, are now prescribed, but they have decided to take the floor to “to free”.
On condition of anonymity or with their faces uncovered, these women describe assaults that occurred when they were younger, “a dysfunction in his relationship with women” and more generally, behaviors “shocking” from this man, star presenter of the show “Ushuaïa” broadcast on TF1 and former Minister of Ecological and Inclusive Transition (2017-2018) in the government of Edouard Philippe.
Before speaking on the set of BFMTV, Wednesday, where he announced his withdrawal from public life by anticipating these revelations, Nicolas Hulot and his lawyers were contacted on several occasions by the journalists of “Special Envoy”. He refused to answer their questions in front of a camera. His lawyers have also declined any request for interviews. They let it be known that their client strongly disputes the facts and more generally claims to have never committed sexual assault on a woman in his life.
