The use of 49.3 to pass the pension reform by the executive has revived a strong challenge from the opposition but also from some French citizens. Since March 16, mobilizations have been numerous in France and some of the demonstrators denounce a denial of democracy. A crisis of political trust?
Since the beginning of the mobilization of part of the French against the pension reform, the level of confidence of the French in the institutions would be at the lowest since the crisis of the “yellow vests” according to a survey carried out by the Opinion Institute Way.
According to this same survey, nearly two-thirds of those questioned believe that democracy does not work well, ie ten points more than two years ago. So how can we reconnect with democratic resources in a context of deepening social crisis?
