The Republican candidate will debate for an hour and a half, on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, against the vice-president and Democratic candidate for the American presidential election which will take place at the beginning of November.
A crucial face-off in the race for the White House? The debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump in June changed the face of the American presidential election. Will it be the same during the unprecedented confrontation between Kamala Harris and the former president, on Tuesday, September 10, starting at 3 a.m. (9 p.m. in the United States)?
The Democratic vice president and the Republican candidate have never spoken to each other and they will face each other for the first time in one of the most anticipated meetings of this extraordinary campaign. This debate will take place under the same conditions as the one between Joe Biden and Donald Trump: 90 minutes, without an audience, without notes and with strict rules, designed to prevent untimely interruptions or direct challenges.
Their debate, which may be the only one before the November 5 vote, will be hosted by two journalists from the American network ABC and will take place in Philadelphia, in the crucial state of Pennsylvania, in the northeast of the country.
