live revelations in “C à vous” by Naël’s family lawyer!

Anger is brewing throughout France and more particularly in Île-de-France after the death of Naël, a 17-year-old teenager shot dead by the police after refusing to comply in Hauts-de-Seine (92).

While driving in the streets of Nanterre, this young teenager would have been asked by the police to stop and present his driving license. On the images relayed en masse on social networks, we discover that the young man panicked because not being in possession of his driving license, would have tried to flee. What provoke the annoyance of one of the police officers who then did not hesitate to shoot him. The bullet that hit the teenager in the heart caused his death almost immediately, the emergency services dispatched to the scene having failed to revive him.

At the end of the day, it was announced by Me Yassine Bouzrou, Me Jennifer Cambla and Me Abdelmadjid Benamara, lawyers for Naël’s relatives, that they will file a complaint for murder and another for forgery in public writing. If the police officer who fired has just been placed in police custody for manslaughter, the investigation will first have to determine whether he intended to kill, in particular because we hear him shouting: “I’m going to put a bullet in the head” to the young man before shooting him down.

“Open an investigation into a dead person”
Faced with the seriousness of the case, the police insist that the young Naël ran into them in the middle of a traffic check. A justification that does not pass in public opinion, so much so that the images continue to be strongly relayed in order to demonstrate the wrongs of the police. In the process, Me Jennifer Cambla and Me Abdelmadjid Benamara two of the lawyers of the family of the teenager, went to the set of the show “C à vous” to discuss the complaint that was erected.

“There are two complaints that will be filed, intentional homicide by a person holding public authority and then a second for complicity, concerning the colleague who is next door” advanced Me Jennifer Cambla before expressing her dismay: “The Nanterre public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation for refusing to comply and for attempted homicide of the police. The first thing you realize is that there must have been a complaint filed by the police indicating that they were in danger. The police must have lied and the prosecution decided to open an investigation into a person who died.”.

“Investigating a person who is dead is not possible, it makes no sense! They want to counterbalance the facts that are attested by the video with an investigation against a person who is dead. Naël, the teenager who is dead, shot dead by the police, is targeted today by an investigation when he is dead” then apologized Me Abdelmadjid Benamara.
