It is a news item that has kept the whole of France in suspense for a few days: the disappearance of Sihem, an 18-year-old student from Gard, who has not given any sign of life since January 25, 2023. This Thursday, February 2, the sad outcome fell since the lifeless body of the young woman was found in an isolated country lane.
Very quickly, it was revealed that this disappearance is now a homicide case and that the main suspect is Mafhoud H… the husband of Sihem’s cousin. In police custody, the 39-year-old man made appalling confessions and explained that he killed Sihem by suffocating her, all following a romantic dispute. According to him, he had a secret relationship with the young woman.
This Thursday, February 2, 2023, the journalist Michel Mary was present on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste” and made revelations about the suspect: “It turns out that Mafhoud and the cousin are separating, they are divorcing, they have two children and Sihem is incidentally, beyond her studies, the couple’s babysitter”.
Regarding the murder, he explains: “It is the gendarmes of the Research Section of Nîmes and the research brigade of Alès who will take care of the traffic research and the last case was a salami but in fact it dates back to 2011 where he had sequestered a couple in a home that is the owners of a tobacconist…”.
Michel Mary then explains that the suspect would have organized with Sihem, an incredible scenario in order to fool his enemies. “At the beginning, it was a money story, by organizing a fake kidnapping of Sihem, passing her off as the nanny who looked like her in order to recover the 500,000€”.
