Live on TPMP – “He breaks his balls”, “Go ahead, talk to yourself”: Raymond goes crazy against Amine Elbahi

Lively exchange between Raymond and Amine Elbahi. Indeed, the lawyer appearing in the report of Restricted zone on M6, “Faced with the danger of radical Islam, the responses of the State”, was on the TPMP set to discuss the controversial documentary for several hours. Cyril Hanouna evoking the subject and choosing to broadcast a sequence dealing with certain bookstores selling books with extremist thoughts. “We discovered that there were Islamic bookstores and that certain departments advocated the stoning of women”.

Following this sequence, Gilles Verdez took the floor to say that, according to him, we learned nothing in this sequence, or even in the report in general. “There is nothing new in the tropics, it’s like faceless dolls. You don’t learn anything new. Everything is dependent on the city of Roubaix”, declared the columnist before Raymond took the floor: “You take the example of Roubaix but you shouldn’t stop at this city. They priced Roubaix because they can’t do all the cities. We can talk about Marseille or Lyon, we can talk about full cities. It shocks me to see that. Because it has existed for 20 years what we are talking about. The fact that there are bookstores that sell the Koran has existed for 20 years…”, the columnist being cut off by the team on the set following his remarks. Raymond, a bit annoyed then let go: “Oh if you don’t let me finish… it’s going to be complicated”.

Amine Elbahi then taking the floor to respond to the member of the TPMP team: “I have the impression Sir that you are trying to justify the unjustifiable”. To which Raymond replied annoyed: “I don’t justify anything, I don’t even have time to talk… It’s okay, it’s not worth it. Don’t look at me, I couldn’t place one”. In the end, the columnist puts water in his wine and resumes his speech after Cyril Hanouna asked him if he had found his ideas: “No, but it’s not the school I knew. It’s not the school where girls and boys are separated…” Amine Elbahi again cutting the columnist: “It’s not a school it’s an association”… This time, it’s too much for Raymond who gets out of his mind. “Oh come on, talk to yourself. No, but it’s good. I was pissed off watching the report to prepare my defense tonight and you cut me off every two seconds”, he let go of him very upset.
