The state of health of Michel Drucker once again raises concern. This Wednesday, February 8, 2023, the newspaper “Le Parisien” reveals that the famous host of France Télévisions was “hospitalized in Île-de-France for a battery of medical tests”. Important examinations which, as our colleagues explain, are directly related to his heavy heart operation suffered in 2020.
In order to have peace of mind during this new hospital stay, Michel Drucker would have taken a few days off, in agreement with his management: “We agreed with Michel that he take the time to rest after his exams. . I talk to him every day and he is doing very well, “said Stéphane Sitbon-Gomez, director of antennas and programs for the public audiovisual group.
Passionate about his work and not decided to retire, the 80-year-old host should be back on television on March 14, at the controls of his show “Vivement Dimanche”, now broadcast on France 3.
“It was just a small balance sheet”
This Wednesday, February 8, 2023, and while he received Francis Lalanne on the set of his show “Touche pas à mon poste”, Cyril Hanouna did not fail to send a little wink to his friend Michel Drucker: “I would like to give a big kiss to my friend Michel Drucker who is watching us this evening” he advanced. “He is fine. Everything said in The Parisian is right. It was expected. I had to go see him in show on Friday, I will come to see him as soon as he resumes”.
It was then Bernard Montiel who took the floor to give reassuring news: “It was just a small review, which had been planned for a year. He had an operation a year ago, he made this assessment. Nothing serious, everything is fine, on the contrary“.
As a reminder, in 2020, Michel Drucker entered the hospital for a heart operation which unfortunately had dramatic consequences. Following an infection that occurred during his convalescence, the facilitator had to undergo another intervention and had very nearly had a leg amputated.
