Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine received this Wednesday, June 28, 2023, the host and actor Jean-Luc Reichmann on the set of his show “C à vous”. At first, the TF1 star confided in his relationship with actress Mimie Mathy and ranted about their “differences” which led to the birth of fights for him and the one that the we know for his role in “Joséphine, guardian angel”.
On France 5, Jean-Luc Reichmann then mentioned Paul El Kharrat, the former champion of the “12 Coups de Midi” with whom he had become friends. The young man with Asperger’s syndrome had in 2019, broken many records by participating in 153 shows and winning € 691,522 in winnings and gifts. Despite their complicity and their closeness, Paul El Kharrat had finally revealed that he was no longer part of the host’s entourage. “We haven’t spoken to each other for nearly a year for all sorts of reasons that I won’t reveal. I have no direct or privileged contact with this man. “All this allowed me to have with Laurent Ruquier connections that I never had with Jean-Luc Reichmann, with whom we have never left the facilitator-student relationship” he had launched with sadness in the columns of Télé Star.
“It’s not always easy for him”
After several months of silence, the former champion finally declared having reconnected with his former mentor and having spoken with him. It was therefore the turn of Jean-Luc Reichmann to discuss their estrangement. “With Paul, when you don’t answer him right away – and that’s normal, he has Asperger’s autism, he too has his difference – he doesn’t understand” he explained before mentioning a “situation a little delicate last year”. Jean-Luc Reichmann who had to deal with the death of his mother, added: “I was not available in my head. For Paul, it takes time”.
The host wanted to make it clear that there is no animosity between him and Paul: “I know him well, I know that it’s not easy for him every day and that the slightest grain of sand can derail the machine”. We also note that the two friends will meet on TF1 next July 3 since a “special” program of “12 Coups de Midi” will be broadcast as part of the week dedicated to the “Combat des maîtres”.
