There is an air of deja vu in Ireland, this Saturday, May 7. Stade Toulousain moves against Munster, in the quarterfinals of the ChampionsCup. Exactly the same scenario as last year, a scenario which had finally allowed Toulouse to hang a fifth star on their shirt. Kick-off of the meeting at 4 p.m., to follow of course on France Bleu Occitanie.
The only difference, and a big one this year: the public. Absent last year, due to sanitary measures in the midst of the Covid-19 epidemic, the supporters will give voice. Especially that the match is held this Saturday in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, with a capacity almost twice as large as Munster’s stadium in Limerick.
To defend their title and reach the quarter-finals, Stade Toulousain lines up heavy artillery. The internationals will be present with the star pair Dupont-N’Tamack, also with Julien TraderThomas RamosFrancois CrosThibaud flamingo or Matthis Lebel but some remain on the bench, like Cyril Baille and Anthony Jelonch.
