This is the final of the Eskulari Pro Pilota tournament at the Villefranque trinquet this Saturday. On the program, the curtain rises at 10 a.m.: a game for third place between Ion Saint–Paul (who replaces Peio Larralde, injured in the hand) and Mathieu Ospital. And at 11 a.m., the final between Baptiste Ducassou and Luis Sanchez. Baptiste Ducassou starts as a favorite in this meeting: he is already twice the title holder and will try the pass of three.
In the semifinals he made a strong impression by dismissing Peio Larralde (40-24). Luis Sanchez for his part defeated Mathieu Ospital (40-21). The two losers were to face each other in the curtain-raiser in the small final at 10 a.m. But Peio Larralde, injured in the hands, had to forfeit, he is replaced by Jon St Paul. These parts will make it possible to measure the level of each pilotari before the Super Prestige of St Jean Pied-de-Port which will take place throughout the month of January.
The sanitary pass is required at the entrance to the trinquet de Villefranque.
