An 8-year-old girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert in Quebec has been found safe and sound.
The child was kidnapped in Repentigny, in the Lanaudière region, on Saturday, around 12 p.m., by a 51-year-old man, according to the message broadcast by the Sûreté du Québec around 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
The little girl was found shortly after the Amber Alert was issued Sunday morning on the Kahnawake reserve, in Montérégie.
The suspect will be met by investigators from the Sûreté du Québec.
