After the Montreal Canadiens and the Laval Rocket, it is the turn of the Trois-Rivières Lions to find themselves on forced leave due to COVID-19.

The Mauricie organization announced on Sunday that nine players and two members of the organization’s staff will have to follow the COVID-19 protocol. They are players Mathieu Brodeur, Jonathan Joannette, Olivier Galipeau, Nicolas Lariviere, Alexis D’Aoust, Darick Louis-Jean, Marc-Antoine Gélinas, Tristan Bérubé and Mathieu Brisebois, as well as head coach Éric Bélanger and video coach Alex Cousineau.
The Habs school club were originally scheduled to face the Adirondacks Thunder on Sunday afternoon, but the game has been postponed. The Trois-Rivières training has instead started a break, the duration of which is currently indefinite.
The Lions are currently second in the North Division with a good 14-9-1 record for 29 points.
