“I went…and it backfired.”
In this interview at voguethe 57-year-old former supermodel went back in length to the reasons that led her to have cryolipolysis: “These ads for CoolSculpting were running all the time, over and over again, and they were like, ‘Do you like what you see in the mirror?’ weren’t going (…) So I went, and it turned around like me. If I had known that the side effects could involve losing your livelihood and ending up so depressed to the point of hating each other… I wouldn’t have taken that risk”, she expressed. The ex-model also confided to having undergone two liposuction operations. Without success. “I have incisions all over my body. I had stitches, I wore compression garments under my chin, my body was tightly belted for eight weeks – nothing helped”, she said.
In September 2021, Linda Evangelista had filed a complaint against the company Zeltiq Aesthetics for “serious injuries”. Wishing to turn the page on these dark years due to cosmetic surgery, the former top model posted a message on Instagram last July: “I’m thrilled to have the CoolSculpting case settled. I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my life with my friends and family, and I’m happy to put this case behind me.”
