After new clues, the search has resumed concerning the Lina case. On Tuesday, August 6, dozens of gendarmes were mobilized to find leads on the disappearance of the teenager.

The gendarmes are traveling in pairs through the Saulx forest in search of clues. It is in this wood of approximately 90 hectares located near Vesoul in Haute-Saône that they were led by the GPS of the Ford Puma where traces of Lina’s DNA were found. The investigators are exploring meter by meter the path of Samuel G., the main suspect in the disappearance of the teenager. The man, who committed suicide at his home in Besançon, had been stopped last January in this vehicle.

The vehicle’s GPS data led the police and gendarmes to a wooded area in the Vosges. Despite combing 45 hectares in four days with the participation of a specialized army search unit, the searches have so far yielded nothing. After a three-day break, the search resumed with 90 gendarmes mobilized.
