LOSC striker Angel Gomes was the victim of a violent head-to-head collision with Amadou Koné in the 15th minute of the Ligue 1 match between Stade de Reims and Lille on Saturday 17 August. The English striker, who remained on the ground, was immediately taken care of by his teammates before the medics came to his aid. The match was suspended for almost 30 minutes before resuming. Koné was sent off.
