While under contract until 2023 with Lille, Jocelyn Gourvenec was dismissed by the northern club on Thursday June 16, after only one season on the Losc bench. The two parties have reached an amicable agreement which endorses Gourvenec’s experience on the Lille bench, resulting in a disappointing 10th place in Ligue 1 as well as elimination in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Taken aback by a fringe of supporters, the successor of Christophe Galtier failed to surf the title of champion of France won in 2021.

“Losc and all the components of the club would like to sincerely thank Jocelyn Gourvennec for his collaboration, his commitment and his professionalism throughout this 2021-2022 season.“, wrote the club in a press release published on its website.
