Eight years and four albums after his telecrochet victory The Voice, Lilian Renaud continues on her way. Singer-songwriter, the singer from Doubs was not just a meteorite in the French musical sky. Last May, he released his fourth opus entitled In a moment of happinessa self-produced album to be able to maintain greater artistic freedom.
With the pandemic, Lilian had to cancel or postpone certain dates but he will be in Dole in the Jura on February 26. On the stage of La Rodia – the current music hall of Besançon – he is preparing with his two musicians and technicians. Each song will be accompanied by a different visual universe, like a series of tables which follow one another, to arouse a different emotion: starry sky for a piano-voice, warm colors for music with Celtic atmospheres…

Lilian Renaud’s career got off to a flying start. Concerts, albums, tour… everything happened to the delight of the young artist. But for his great pain too. Too much running in all directions, his body ended up saying stop. A double herniated disc therefore forced Lilian to a forced but life-saving rest. Today, the singer no longer wants to make the same mistakes. “We are not going to do 150 dates a year. I prefer to do less, but let it be very qualitative”.
For me, it is important to arrive in front of people in total possession of my body and my soul.
A soul he shares on stage with Edouard Dornier and Maxime Ferri, two musicians who also give voice. “On Lilian’s album, there are a lot of choirs, he likes everything gospel, it’s very ethereal” Edward points out. As for Maxime, he says he had “some apprehensions but in the end, it unites us even more”.
