After two cancellations linked to COVID-19, the event created by Olivier Primeau (Beachclub) returns to the Olympic Park esplanade with headlining rappers Lil Baby, Playboi Carti and Young Thug, all from Georgia and from the Dirty South.

At Boogie wit da Hoodie, DaBaby and Don Toliver will also be on the main stage, Metro Metro announced on its Facebook page.

Quebec rap fans can turn to Loud, 5sang14, Koriass, FouKi, Nate Husser or Naya Ali. Their compatriot Emma Beko, with her pop and R&B leanings, will join in the festivities. The presence of other artists remains to be announced, the festival said.

In the spring of 2019, Metro Metro hit hard by attracting Cardi B, Snoop Dogg and Sean Paul to Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, among others.
