He is back in stores with a new album “Another life”. And Raphaël took a little moment before coming back down, this Monday March 18, 2024, when he was expected for a private acoustic concert, at the Figaro. To his assembled audience, he confessed: “So I didn’t know at all that I was going to do a concert, I wasn’t planned. I had done the opening, well I had played several times at Live du Figaro, it wasn’t at the same place, and it wasn’t the same room. So I’ve already started, we have two minutes there?”
“Soaked as if they had been in a swimming pool“
And to tell them about the series of misfortunes that happened to him early in the morning. Mélanie Thierry’s husband revealed: “It started when I had a water leak in my house, so I had planned, I had put on an outfit, telling myself, I’m not going to be on TV. Really my dressing room, first the neighbors rang the doorbell while I was taking a shower, and then we identified the leak in my dressing room. It wasn’t hard to identify because all my stuff was soaked like it had been in a swimming pool. And there you have it, well, it was already starting badly.”
And added: “And then, I went to Le Figaro, and I was to Le Figaro 4-5 years ago, in another street, fortunately not that far away. And I saw that it didn’t work at all“.
So it’s a great joy
Fortunately, Raphaël has lost none of his good humor following these two annoying ordeals. Arriving there, he noted: “So afterwards, I arrived in this building, and it’s a new set, it looks like an English show from the 80s, it’s very chic, I really like it. And I didn’t know at all that it was a concert . So it’s a great joy, it’s very nice, yeah.”
