Emblematic figure of Dance with the stars, François Alu unfortunately seems to have been excluded from the program. As the launch of the thirteenth season approaches, the casting of which is already making viewers salivate, TF1 revealed that the Danseur Étoile would not be a member of the jury this year. Like the artist, Denisa Ikonomova, who has been the partner of many celebrities, will not be part of the next edition.
In 2022, the 37-year-old Bulgarian decided to leave the adventure in order to devote herself to other projects. Last December, however, she had mentioned her possible return to the show. “We will see at the start of the school year if I resume exercising, knowing that I don’t want to come back as a teacher“she confided in the columns of Tele-Leisure before returning to his cruciate ligament operation. “I’m a year behind in dancing. You have to get back in shape, I want to give the best of myself and I can’t do that as a dancer.”
She also assured that she could “still give my best as a juror.” “I want to pass on all the knowledge I have. So we’ll see how it all comes together given that the next season will be broadcast during the winter.”

“I am on good terms with the production”
For his part, François Alu had also left doubt. “I don’t know yet if there will be a new season. All I can tell you it’s that I am on good terms with production“, he indicated. And to continue: “I already have a lot of projects in the works so let’s wait to see if the show will come back first. If so, we’ll discuss it when the time comes.”
As for the new jury of Dance with the stars, production has decided. Fauve Hautot, Jean-Marc Généreux, Chris Marques and Mel Charlot will be at the helm.
